Welcome To MobilEksperten™ K750 to W800 Upgrade Guide.
NB! All data on your phone are deleted when upgrading. Do save
all your important data before upgrading. Use software supplied when you bought
your phone, or fLoats Mobileagent. Data on memorycard are not deleted.
1. Download and run the upgradingsoftware
MobilEksperten™.com.
2. The software automatically installs to "C:\MobilEksperten"
on your harddrive and execute.
3. Plug DCU-60 USB cable to your PC (a grey USB cable
supplyed with your phone)
4. Turn your phone off and remove the SIM card and
reincert the battery. If you have used Sony Ericssons upgrading service (SEUS)
before, move to number 16.
5. Push "C" button on your phone and keep it
pushed THE PHONE MUST BE TURNED OFF!
6. Plug USB CABLE to your phone.
7. Windows now finds a new hardware device in a window
to the right on your screen.
  
8. Mark "Install from a list" and press Next
9. Mark "Search for the best driver in these
locations" then mark "Include this location in the search" and
point to "C:\MobilEksperten\Drivers\"
and press "Next"
10. You'll see this window...
11. Shortly after this window appers. Press "Continue
Anyway"
12. The driver install continues and Windows makes a
"System Restore Point"
13. Driver installation compleated. Press "Finish"
14. If the installation of the drivers are right, you'll
get this window down right side om your screen.
15. If you'll want to take a closer look, you'll get in "USB
Flash" in "Device Manager" when you attatce your phone to the USB cable.
OK! You are ready to make your K750/D7500 to a W800 Walkman
Phone....
FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS CLOSELY !!
16. When downloaded and running the software do write
your Login and
Pass. You got Login and Pass in the e-mail from us.
17. Press the Info button. You'll gat a status repport
of the server and your amount of credits.
18. Press Server Status Button. It shows how many who
are atatched to the server.
19. In Port Settings chose DCU-60 and 921600 .
Mark DTR and RTS.
20. Press Get Flash Files, to download the right file.
21. A new window opens and you should press Update File List.
22. Mark W800 R1AA008 EU4 for Norwegian language, but
you should mark the language you'll need. Then mark Download
Main Firmware and Download File System Flash .
23. Press Get File to download the files to your PC.
24. The software now checks if you do have the files on
your PC and tells you if you don't. Press YES to downloade bouth files.
It may take a while, depended on your internet supplier speed.
25. When the files ard downloaded, mark MAIN and FS box.
This to chose bought files for flashing.
26. Mark Finalization
27. Now you are redy to upgrade your K750/D750 to W800i Walkman
Phone. NB! EVERYTHING STORED IN PHONEMEMORY WILL BE DELETED!!
28. Remove the cable from your phone, and remove the
battery. Then reinsert the battery after ca 10 sek.
29. Press the FLASH Button.
30. Press "C" button and atatch the USB cable to
your phone while pressing the "C" button. NB! THE PHONE MUST BE TURNED
OFF! You can stop pressing the "C"
button when the software detects the phone.
31. Follow instructions on screen and wait to the prosess
are compleated. Normally it takes around 10 to 15 min.
32. When the prosess are compleated, you'll see "Flash Finalization -
Successfull!!!" on the screen. Then you should remove the cable from your
phone, insert your SIM card and turn your phone on. Normally it takes a while
the first time to make the phone ready.
CONGRATIULATION!! YOU NOW HAVE A BRAND NEW W800I WALKMAN
PHONE.
IF YOU'LL WANT TO TURN YOUR PHONE BACK TO A K750/D750, FOLLOW
THE SAME PROSEDURE, BUT CHANGE THE W800 FILES TO K750/D750 FILES.
You'll need a new credit for this.
Now you'll need W800i USB Driver
to attatch your phone to thePC.
You'll need
W800i Disc 2 Phone to organice your MP3's.
You'll need
Sony Ericsson PC Suite to W800i
not PC Suite til K750i.
